![]() On June 16, 2020, the Administration released its newest assault against immigrants when the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) published a proposed rule which would ultimately eradicate the asylum process and leave vulnerable women and children at risk by forcing them to return to the very risk that many times cause them their lives. The Administration’s proposed rule goes against international treaties which protect asylum seekers and violates human rights.
